In this multiplayer indie game
Our sandbox indie game will take you through seven different fiefs of one kingdom, all of which involved in civil unrest.
Take up residence in this toony-world of woe; pick up a blade, or axe, and carve out your claim to fame.
The realm of The Garden teeters on the edge of civil war, split between the righteous reign of King Humilitas and the growing rebellion of his mother, Queen Avaritia, once consort to the late King Superbia.
At the heart of the kingdom lies Goldenglough, the prosperous capital founded by Superbia and now governed with humility by his younger son, Humilitas. His heir, Patientia, a calm and measured prince, is quietly betrothed to Temperantia, the disciplined daughter of Lord Gula, ruler of the coastal port Meritide Bay and head of The Succulent Marigold. Their union is symbolic — a bridge between kingdom and coast — but is undermined by Gula’s gluttony: he hoards nourishment meant for the capital and secretly supplies arms to the rebel house of The Alluring Dandelion.
This rebel faction is led by Lady Invidia, who founded the city of Underidge after being denied aid by The Burning Lily during a devastating raid. Her envy of the alliance between the Marigold and the Lily curdled into open betrayal. She now aids the queen's cause, supplying mercenaries and unrest.
Meanwhile, Queen Avaritia, resentful of her younger son’s rise, withdrew to the opulent city of Vandylcourt and declared her loyalty to her elder son Ira, who poisoned his father and then withdrew from the tournament meant to determine the next ruler. Now the prince festers in the high city of Rabbit Hutch in the South, disrupting trade and spreading dissent alongside The Callous Chamomile, whose merchants lace goods with poison to weaken Goldenglough.
In the East, Slumberton — once the original Goldenglough — is being slowly revived by the tireless knight Industria, loyal to Humilitas. She struggles to reestablish the fortress and relies on her sluggish squire Acedia as she seeks support from afar.
To the West lies Emberdale, neutral and independent, ruled by the generous Caritas and his wife, the captivating and calculating Luxuria. Their city, once a mercenary outpost, is now a sanctuary for travelers. Within it, Castitas, sister to Caritas, runs a brothel with discipline and care, ensuring protection for those who work within. Though kin to Avaritia, Caritas has rejected her ambition, choosing peace over blood.
And behind the scenes, Humanitas, loyal steward of The Burning Lily, investigates the shadowy dealings in Meritide Bay. His movements are secret, his purpose clear: to uncover the arms trade that threatens the fragile alliance between Marigold and Lily, despite his heart tugging him toward Lady Invidia, the very rebel he is meant to foil.
